With over 6 years continuous training with some of the biggest names in the UK Martial Art scene James’ journey to date has been privileged. Having started his journey with Maestro Antonio Faedda at his Nudda School in London James quickly took to the Filipino Martial Arts and under the tutelage of Antonio progressed quickly attending as many classes and seminars as he could. Not only did James gain physically from the training it also changed his personal outlook on life.

Very early on in his martial art journey James realised he had not only developed a passion for the arts themselves but also a passion for teaching the arts. Always keen to help new students and pass his knowledge on to others James began taking an active role in teaching the arts. This was recognised by Antonio who offered James the chance to join his instructors programme, which has given him the drive to start his own school and hopefully pass on the arts, his passion and also continue to meet fantastic and friendly people within the martial arts world.

Due to moving away from London in 2009 James found a need to find a new school in the Milton Keynes area, this is where he started training with Al Peasland in the Complete Self Protection system. Instantly he found that the skills he had acquired from Nudda were still applicable within Al's system and was surprised at how easily both systems could flow together.

Having completed his Filipino Boxing instructorship under Antonio Faedda in 2010 and progressing quickly through Al's CSP system the time was right to start his own school. "Having the opportunity to share the skills and knowledge I have acquired and am still acquiring within the Martial Arts world is a privilege" James Hooper 2010.
